I recently found out that I may have worked for a period of time without documentation.
The way I found this out is because my ex room mate is a tax pro and decided to file 5 years of back taxes for me.
Well for 3-4 or those years I didn't have any form of work Visa (or I might have, I don't have documents going that far back.)

My question is: What penalties am I faced with, and what should I worry about?

The thing I'm actually worried about is they could issue a deportation. Which means I have to leave Canada permanently.
I have a lease with two room mates relying on me, my family is here, my SON is here.
If I have to leave them I don't know what I'll do. I can't. I just can't man.

Permanent Resident now.
I didn't file at the time for two reasons:
1. No permit (I might have had one I can't remember rnow)
2. I was under the personal exemption limit, and filing was hard. (I was young and dumb man)

I was wrong. She filed for GST and low income credits, no income was reported for those years.
