There appears to be a massive shift away from live performances to content creation. Mostly because the live performance websites still have to give away 70% of their earnings to the webhost (50% if it's a token site) and that they're super strict on any sort of marketing for other material. Basically, when you're running cam shows, you can't mention your twitter account, you can't mention content based websites where you sell your videos, it's pretty hard and cumbersome to sell your videos on the live-streaming site, and you definitely can't mention stuff like doing skype shows.

The other day, a friend of mine put up on her Twitter a poll about if she should do more content-based stuff on video sales websites and only live-stream 2-3 times a week, and I asked her why she was switching. She told me her check last month from the content-based website was double the one from her live-streaming check, and that she only put out one new video the whole month. And considering those content-based sites also offer the ability for users to pay a month fee to get access to a certain amount of videos, it probably would help her to put out consistent content on there to have a steady income and keep people subscribed for months at a time.

That's funny. One of the ones I know who has been highly successful (and is clearly also an escort) is going the other way. Taking down all content and doing live stuff only. I think she's worried about piracy or something? Not sure.

Recorded content is also less popular for the ones that highly value anonymity and aren't really full timers. Olivia quite famously never had ANY extra content at all.

It makes sense that you would want to protect a multi million production from being totally ruined by something as stupid as sexual harassment, but none of this stuff seems to actually be helping. Is it so hard to just hire people who don't harass.

The other implication is that if someone follows all those rules but still harasses someone, then they have this defense of "I followed all the rules!" and it actually hurts openness.

By far the biggest problem with minorities in elite schools is they don't csnr adapt to the culture of elitism. They can be insanely qualified quantitatively, but they grew up in the Bronx or China or something and can't figure out elite northeastern white dynamics. This causes a disproportionate amount of dropouts in those demographics. Personally I knew how to play that game so I was fine but I saw a lottt of people who couldn't. There is no course to learn that stuff.

This kind of admissions policy is exactly to avoid admitting highly qualified minorities like that, and instead admit weak whites who know how to play the game. I can't believe you interpreted this so backwards (I mean I can but still). You really do believe whites are measurably superior and any subjectivity is an attack on their objective greatness. And again you're not reading the article you just posted.

If the objective criteria were being used to favor white students, that would therefore imply that white students would have lower test scores than minorities. Instead, the exact opposite is true.

That's what I'm saying. Asians have the best scores but are routinely rejected for mediocre white people who fit in better. Top minorities of all kinds are victim to this, but especially asians (due to their disproportionately high objective scores). That's why the article you posted is about a lawsuit regarding anti-asian discrimination.

I'm just mentioning my own experience in a (fake) elite undergrad school (which you never went to btw) regarding insanely qualified minorities who failed due to deeply subjective "not fitting in" kinds of things. The notion that this subjective evaluation favors minorities is absolutely unfounded.
