most horror is garbage. Basically anything supernatural is a waste of time because there's no actual threat (i.e. I know ghosts aren't real so little demon girl popping out of the tv isn't doing a damn thing) and anything slightly grounded in reality should realistically be resolved in about 10 minutes by a call to the police, but ends up getting drawn out because every character is stupid so by the time anything that might potentially be scary is on screen you can't take it seriously because Cheryl shouldn't have been in that attic in the first place you dumb fucker GO AWAY FROM THE SCARY NOISE NOT TOWARDS IT
