An eyeglass store in Hamburg was called "six million glasses" after the show "six million dollar man."

The location of this should come into play too. I mean if someone in the US named their store or product Nine Eleven something it might offend many Americans as the first thing theyll think of is 2001...but it could be fine in another nation.

I really doubt this was on purpose though. I don't think that even an actual nazi in germany would risk their own livelihood when they know how strict Germany is with nazi shit

Possibly.

1) its in Germany - despite the strong anti-Nazi laws there is still definitely antisemitism there
2) glass makes me think of the night of broken glass, a defining Nazi event against Jews before WWII
3) when I hear 6 million, I think of the Holocaust body count

That being said its still speculative, but I could see the thought process

I'm generally pretty sensitive to anti-Semitism. It's something I think is far more prevalent than people want to admit these days, on both sides of the political spectrum. That said I don't know if this one is. It's just a fucking dumb name

Ironically, one million could be closer to the number of glasses disposed of by Jews killed in the holocaust.
