So I have the first two games collecting dust for 10 years. Never got down to playing them, but with KH3 on the horizon I feel like now's the time.
However, is there anything I should know beforehand? I don't know much about Disney, and apparently there are Final Fantasy characters in it. Can I just go in blind? --- Number of Topics Killed: 421 ... Copied to Clipboard!

You can go in blind for the first one. You can for the second one, but there be some stuff you don't understand because there was a game between them.

Buy the 1.5+2.5 collection on PS4 and you get the entire package in one place minus one game. It's much better than the original two KH games as they are their final mix versions, 2 having a LOT more content in that version, as well as being 60 FPS with almost no load times on PS4.

IIRC its best to just have Donald and Goofy in your party instead of the temporary characters in each world. I cant remember why though, so maybe Im wrong.
Some of the world-specific characters have some pretty badass abilities, though. ... Copied to Clipboard!

I feel like you should only play 1 and 2. KH1's plot is actually not horrendous, but take 2's with a grain of salt.
