The game is kind of boring if you play it alone, but becomes very engaging if you play it with others.

Find other things to get you excited: video game, book, movie, music, whatever.

Is writing your talent? I write/record songs and whenever I feel like I cant write anything I will listen to other music and think about what I would have done differently while listening. This is a good stepping stone into the process of getting creative

I'm not confident enough to call it a talent but yeah, I like to write. I do other things too, like game development and sometimes music. The method you're talking about is interesting. I use it when I write sometimes, like I would take an existing story and have it develop in a different direction.

I don't even feel like doing that though.

Oh shit, it's starting to come back to me. I had a story idea today. Maybe in some weird way, creating this topic was the catalyst for my creativity coming back.
