But those 70k (more like, 45k post-tax) would go to paying for a swanky condo and a BMW. If you are paying for 2 kids and saving for their college and taking the wife for dinner you'd probably need 180k to live a similar lifestyle ... Copied to Clipboard!

70k as a married guy with kids isnt a breeze. Unless your wife is also making a decent amount of income. As a single guy with no kids 70k is more than enough to have a pretty great lifestyle unless youre absolutely shit with money or live in an exorbitant housing market, which is nationwide limited.
