As for the lack of helicopters, the only explanation I can think of is that they're terrified that hosts will escape the park and they're not confident they won't lose control of a helicopter if they send them in. They did parachute in people and supplies.

Not just the hosts, they also don't want the staff to get out before they're ready.

The company is able to fund and maintain a reasonably large island nation separated into multiple locales, terraformed into different climates, filled with monitoring equipment, and primarily populated by androids so advanced that they are indistinguishable from humans.

China is already aware. Why wouldn't they leak it that a shit ton of people, including possibly Chinese people, have died there? Must have a huge enough bank roll.

Either way, I liked the time period shit when it was a twist a lot more than when it was blatantly the focus of the plot.

You'd think with all the artificial human android tech they have, they would have heavily armored, non-networked, heavily armed androids who can tank small arms fire and have all it's acc., dex., str., cranked up to 500% to just go in assess the situation and take out anything that fires at them while the human follow safely from the back, but nope, still have weak humans with no extra lives on dune buggies running around getting shot.

here's the other thing i dont get. maybe i missed it earlier in the season.

after the big shootout in the finale last year, how did they hide that? how would the families of the people who were killed at that party not know they are gone?

I dunno why ya'll are assuming they're keeping things secret anyway, I don't think any of the characters have mentioned that.

In fact, I think one of the conversations in the "future" timeline has someone telling someone to tell the Chinese government to fuck off.
