I'd do anything to see all the old videos of cinematech/nocturnal emissions and x-play from G4. That was my childhood, staying up in the dead of the night watching reruns of those shows. Not truly lost but they might as well be. They are most likely archived but will never be released because they are full of copyrighted footage. Very, very little of this was recorded by fans.

What format is it on? If it is a nitrate tape be very careful, they can burn for no seemingly reason, especially if they are old, and can't be put out.

Anyway, there is probably some people or organizations that would be willing to archive and transfer it, but if you do make sure its legit and not some collector who is just going to hoard it.

I was just looking at lost Doctor Who episode information and seems a lot of the early Dalek episodes are missing in part due to Terry Nation owning some of the rights to the Daleks so those episodes weren't distributed to other countries as much.
