I just did that and what the hell. I have never seen a speed that slow in my life. I thought the issue was with my modem but I just swapped for a new one with my isp. and still having issues. could my router be messed up? it's less than a year old. this is insane. I stopped playing online games cause of this. I keep getting dropped, and even when I am connected, download speeds are molasses. I can still stream, somehow though. I don't get it ... I feel like it used to better though. I mean several months ago, I was able to play World of Warcraft. and I remember downloading some stuff on my ps4 that didn't take as long as it does now. I think something weird is going on besides just being in Alaska. i'm not expecting lightening speed but this is ridiculous

Your ISP might be capping you. I've heard about companies offering high speed internet then after a couple months they dial your speed back.

Find out what speed they're selling to you, and go to them with proof of your current speed. If you cause a fuss they'll bend. It's how I got business grade internet for cheap.

Yeah, with 10 upload and less than 2 download, something is just wrong. Generally ISPs sell internet speeds with much higher downloads than uploads. Call your ISP and see if they can see a problem.
