I'm at the part where you get the lolicon follower. Based on my experience so far, I think I hate this game and I hate Sorey. I'm ready to delete this crap and move on but I wanna know if it gets better before I do

the PS3 version was the least enjoyable Tales game I've played, even Tempest and Dawn of the New World were more playable

you can eke a bit more enjoyment out of the story if you play Berseria afterwards since it's a distant prequel that shines new lights on a lot of things, but it's not really worth it, just play Berseria

Honestly I think its best to play Berseria first and then it gives Zestiria more clarity. I did that and was able to tolerate Zestiria more.

The issue with Zesteria is that at it's best: it's tolerable.

I didn't hate it. It was never fantastic, but I never really disliked it either. It has some great boss fights later on, and the elemental dungeons are pretty cool (though mostly because of the badass music in them). I really liked Edna and Zaveid, too, though Zaveid gets to shine in Berseria as well, so that's a moot point.

I've been playing 1-4 hour every week or two for over a year. Slowly progressing.

It isn't bad but a lot of what it wanted to do comes off poorly in execution.

Still better than tempest.

As I said, Soymilk best couple. There's nothing repressed about it either. Also he's a water seraph. Ice seraphs aren't a thing.

god no. it'll just make Zesty's combat more infuriating in comparison

Zesty's not that long of a game, and once you get used to the armatization its.. okay. the main problem is the horrendous camera and the fact that a lot of the game is miserably boring if you normally play co op.

OST and world is fantastic tho and the characters aint too bad (esp my man Dezel)
