It's likely more like 200-400 billion with 11 billion Earth like planets. And no, there's about 2 trillion galaxies. 180 billion is the old estimate.

No. My book said that this is all she wrote and thats final. Those other planets and galaxies are just Gods way of giving us pretty lights at night and he has an insane amount of OCD so he placed them just so.
