No Manny would have just been one more gun but not enough to make a difference. In fact if he didnt kill Manny his sister would not have been at the mansion and gotten killed. Sparking Tony's fit of rage and subsequent fight he put up.

Nah. Manny was inexperienced and was the one who got Tony in legal trouble by introducing him to the phony money launderer. Even if he came with Tony, he'd still be only one extra gun against several. He might have protected Tony from getting shot in the back, but I imagine they still would have more than likely gotten killed if not then, but later.

It's possible if they escaped and hid they could have survived. Sosa and his friends would be getting a lot of heat with authorities because of the bomb being found on the speech giver's car. They maybe could have waited it out for Sosa to be put away, but that's a huge maybe.

Yeah, it's that assassin which affects Tony's survival the most. The game, "Scarface: The World is Yours" explores the idea of Tony taking out the assassin and surviving the siege.
