Fair but look at the stuff Chris Evans has been saying. He has been wanting to get into directing and doing more stuff behind the camera and hasn't exactly been hiding his distaste for working alone in front of a green screen.

he's been saying this for a while, then directed Before We Go, which was a critical and commercial flop, and then changed his tune real quick about how fortunate he was to be playing Cap.
