Two-Face pretty reliably shows up in some of my favorite Batman stories as the most intriguing part of them. One of the reasons I dislike the Nolan movies more than most people is that they give Harvey about five minutes of screen time as Two-Face before immediately killing him. I think Two-Face might actually be my favorite villain from TAS. Either him or Harley. That show did a fine job making you feel sympathetic to those two and Mr. Freeze as well. I love the variety of responses. The Joker is Batman's primary antagonist, no doubt about that, but it's interesting to see all of the different responses for who his secondary foe should be.
Once upon a time, it was undoubtedly the Penguin due to Burgess Meredith's portrayal in the 1966 series. Heck, in Batman: The Movie, he's the primary antagonist over the Joker. That was a long time ago though. Batman's gone through decades of evolution since. ... Copied to Clipboard!
