In 3 years the ps4 will have been out for 8 years. ps2 was out 6.5 years before ps3 launched, ps3 was out 7 years before ps4 launched. Seems par for the course really

At that point the PS4 will be what, eight years old? Seems like a pretty decent life span. The last generation was close to 10 years right?

PS1 - 1995 (94 in Japan)
PS2 - 2000 PS3 - 2006 PS4 - 2013 PS5 - 2021 Seems about right. Time just zooms by way quicker at our ages. If anything it's longer than expected. Unless they mean holiday 2020 which is possible. --- Kind Regards, Darmik ... Copied to Clipboard!

I think 2 years would be better, unless they plan on leapfrogging like mobile devices. I have a feeling that things will be pretty stale well before 3+...
