not necessarily. i planned on doing something along the lines of cleaning up the top and texturing it a bit then cutting the back and sides down to around 1.5" and fade it into the top.

i like having some flow. just trying to not look like a mop

not really, look at those patches. real men can grow an appreciable beard lol

I've been trying to get a proper undercut/slicked back pompadour (like Brad Pitt's in Fury).

Finding a Thai barber who can actually do it is a problem. I've tried 3 times now at 3 different places and they've all managed to do it wrong (even when I'm showing them pictures).

i don't really like it too long, i have more "bad hair days" than not. but if i keep the length on the top and trim down the sides, it'll be more conducive to letting it grow out more in the future

yeah that's a solid do. i can't really pull it off, too ambitious lol. how have these barbers been cutting it?

Side profile shots are basically useless for hair advice because we cant guess your face shape, which is going to dictate which hair style would look most flattering on you. The wrong haircut will make you look like a dink.

It seems like you have an oblong face, so youd want a haircut to make your head seem more proportional. Avoid cutting the sides too short. Medium length side part would probably work.

i didnt plan on doing a shaved sides or anything but i did plan on having a longer top (almost as is) with like 2" or so sides
