Uhh that combo is not really as common in modern society as we would ideally like it to be, but sure why not...

There's a lot of confident people with stable mindsets who don't do much to socialize outside of work/class settings.
There's many people who socialize often with friends and have stable mindsets, yet very little confidence.
There's a startling number of people who appear very confident, popularly sociable with friends, but also very dysfunctional in private.

Being notably confident, a social butterfly, and having little to no psychological issues...those 3 traits altogether at once...is actually very uncommon. As far as numbers, that's not common enough to be the norm.

Exactly. People call this a controversial term called "toxic masculinity" - that there's behaviors one has to exhibit and things one has to do to be a Real Man.

I had a late start compared to most. I also don't have any regrets about it. Sex does not make you whole. Losing your virginity does not make you more masculine. It just means that you wet your dipstick.

Because selfish miserable lonely people with psychological issues that no one bothers either pointing out (teachers) or treating, (parents) want to make everyone else suffer too. And in our culture that's not hard.

Obviously that's not all of it and there are a lot more distinct situations and beliefs at play but it's an idea.

Deep mental issues may cause:

Social isolation
Becoming a mass shooter
Being an incel

All are symptoms of the same underlying problems, not the cause of the problem itself.
