To talk about random things that don't match what the board is. Like talking about Persona on the Final fantasy board. Or about the Pokmon Anime on the Pokmon game board. It's so you can talk to your friends on a specific board about something that's not about that specific board. If you want to talk about the Pokmon anime with your friend who is only on the Pokmon game board, you can do so. You could also make a topic in the Pokmon anime board and mention them, but...

Basically, like how we have the regulars on this board. We like to talk about whatever. Let's say we could only talk about one thing. For example, a poll that took place everyday. We could label off topic, and that way, I could talk to you guys about things like school, sex, or life. But it really doesn't matter. Flairs are dumb, anyway...
