This is a devastating blow to my my game purchases, personally. Being able to get 20% off any game at any time (as opposed to only near release time like Amazon Prime) was amazing. They ended its much shittier Canadian version already ($5 in-store coupon for every 400 points earned, most of the time $1 = 1 point).

This goes into effect on Sunday the 20th right? So if I go in and renew my Unlocked membership on Saturday (tomorrow), I should be able to keep it for another 2 years, right?

I'm consistently like 1-3 years behind on games because I got in late on the PS3, so ever since then, I've just been playing yesteryear's hits for a fraction of the price. I still buy the occasional game brand new, but it's more to do with who made it or what series it is. Kirby, Atlus, and fighting games are always day one for me. ... Copied to Clipboard!

It's still active until further notice, but people are speculating that they'll cut off memberships after a certain point.
