I once found a really awesome pair of jeans at walmart. Thought they were just a normal pair of black jeans, but no, they were actually blue with so much dye on them they looked black. If I kept better care of them(as in not treat them like regular walmart jeans and take them to work all the time and over wash them), they totally could have looked good in public. <_<

also you can usually tell by the fit and the make that it's a grocery store pickup

Realtalk: Walmart clothing tends to be complete trash. I'm talking, holes worn into the jeans after a few wears, seams in shirts unraveling after a single wash, etc., and they tend to be ill-fitting.

That said, in college, I bought most of my pants from rue21. Some people would clown on me for shopping at a "girl store," but their men's wear was decent. I still have a few pairs of pants from there. They were usually like $25/pair, and you could get a second pair for $10. So, six pairs would be enough to last a week (do laundry on the seventh) and only cost about $120.

There are options between garbage Walmart pants and spending hundreds at a tailor.

I can go to Mark's, and get Carhartts for 85 bucks a pair.

I can get Dakota workshirts for 40 bucks a shirt.

I can go to Walmart, and get work jeans (some stupid name like Rustler I think) for 12 bucks a pair.

Thanks shirts are 5 bucks.

So for 1 pair of Carhartts and1 shirt, I can get 7 days worth of clothing.

If I wore each "day" in succession, it'd take 7 weeks to wear each of them as many times as I'd wear my one day of more expensive clothing in one week.

There's no way the more expensive clothing will last 7 times longer. I know, because I've tested it.

If we're talking work wear (Which I assume you are, bringing up carhartt), TC specifically stated that Wal-Mart clothes are fine for work

I'll usually pick up some cheap Wal-Mart shit to work in since I work with paint and stain all day

Eh I am one of the ugliest people in existence why spend money on nice clothes? Does putting $500 pants on a turd suddenly make the turd attractive? No it just ruins the nice pants. I can except that I am disfigured and nice clothes will not fix that so I dont waste money trying.

I do agree though that the pants are terrible especially the last two pairs I bought as they already have holes after a much shorter time than normal, but they were only $8 each on sale.

One thing I've come to realize is that most people, no matter how ugly, can maximize their attractiveness based on how they groom themselves and present themselves.

If you spend your time scowling and looking sullen all the time, your face and body will reflect that.

If you learn to smile, dress in matching colors, and groom yourself neatly, you can look attractive. It doesn't even have to be a specific look, just find what you like and do the best you can with it

I don't even dress fancy at all I wear jeans and button ups to most social functions lmao
