Topics lately have reminded me how much I love FFV, 4HoL, and BD because of their job systems.
Any hidden gems on there with sweet job systems? --- It's supposed to be HitTheGroundWalking. ... Copied to Clipboard!

I mean, if any of the later ones have as nice job systems as 5 or even 3. Since I actually haven't really played any mainline ones past 6.

I kinda have a bad habit of forgetting the 3D FF games past 7 exist, other than my irritation with 15.
I only ever had nintendo consoles and only 1-6 are on those, and I've only had a computer of my own for the past few years. >_> --- It's supposed to be HitTheGroundWalking. ... Copied to Clipboard!

One of the greatest games of all time: The Zodiac Age. ehhh, it's got a job system, but it's not really like the others. i think TC's looking to be able to change jobs multiple times throughout the game, and with FF12 once you choose you're locked in --- ... Copied to Clipboard!

Bonus points if it has a decent spellsword class.
Honestly I might end up picking up my two-person playthrough of BD again, or maybe replay V. Less tempted to dig out my SP though. I feel like it had TONS of side content though that I didn't do the first time around... or the second. It took me a couple tries to beat it since I was young and it took me a while to get the hang of rpgs. I was disappointed when it didn't get a nice remake like 3 and 4 got. --- It's supposed to be HitTheGroundWalking. ... Copied to Clipboard!

I've began sifting through breadcrumbs of indie games.
https://store.steampowered.com/app/628770/Tangledeep/ is the first potential I've found. Not sure if I'll end up getting anything, since there's a game coming out in a few days that'll likely eat my attention, but still poking around, and sharing my findings. --- It's supposed to be HitTheGroundWalking. ... Edit: Wow, decided to do some googling and it's... not really something often done in games. Most of the games that do it do so under the guise of a "Respec" Kingdoms of Amalur for example has 7 "jobs" Fighter, Mage, Rogue, Fighter+Mage, Fighter+Rogue, Mage+Rogue, and Generalist (hybrid of all 3) But I doubt you'd like it as the game doesn't really encourage changing your job often and it's only one character. --- ...
