You can just mod them in. SOS had spears of all shapes and sizes. Some certain hdt mods even provided sheathes for these spears.

I just wish games had spears that are actually good, and not just a starter weapon.

If the games are going to be combat focused like Skyrim they really need to do something to make the combat system more interesting. The combat is Skyrim is just really, really simple, but there is a lot of it.
