I regularly see people being unceasingly racist/homophobic/transphoic/whatever but as long as you don't outright come and ask for all minorities to be gunned down you will have nothing to befall you. You have people who make threads insulting large groups of people almost exclusively, many of which are clearly on the board posting too, but as long as no names are given it's cool But the second you make an innocuous insult with any sort of direction you get moderated (or tease pokemon fans, i guess they're a protected class). It's the most hilariously dumb approach that I think I've ever seen and once you learn even a modicum of the things that set mods off it's hilariously easy to dance around on the borderline and never get touched. Not that I expect it to change anytime soon, and I don't really care if it does either way. There's way more important stuff in life to get worked up about than moderation on an ancient video game website. The biggest change I do feel is the relaxation of the offensive rule. What would have been a 3kl in the past now starts as an NKL on a clean history.
