Great lineup. Luzbelheim and Cordellium have been waging war over the FFVIII record for a while now, should be great to see them both. I also follow RyuQuezacotl, the guy is a Diablo II god.

I'll probably watch the Lightning Returns and Legend of Legaia sections as well.

Getting the FF7 record is BS for single segment, since to do a rather important time skip you have to kill a certain boss (tetra master?) with exact damage

Legend of Legaia

I'm excited about legend of legaia, but it's gonna be a shorter category so I'm not that excited :/ I prefer the really long ones

shorter because a glitch is used to get no encounters or something. I'm sure it's a fun category, but anything that makes a game I like shorter to run is blah

yeah, I used to have serious framerate problems and stuttering with twitch, but it fixed itself for some reason. I just wish I could default it to always be theater mode with no chat so I had to click three less times to get it that way, ha

yeah, I used to have serious framerate problems and stuttering with twitch, but it fixed itself for some reason. I just wish I could default it to always be theater mode with no chat so I had to click three less times to get it that way, ha

I've never had any issues with videoquality or fps. Though I don't actually use the Twitch app or the website, I use Livestreamer GUI.

RPG sound to me like one of the most boring things to watch ever. If you're already the kind of person who enjoys watching streams on a regular basis, I'm sure that it's quite fun, but for someone who only tunes into AGDQ for the "meme" games (Super Metroid, SM64, Yoshi's Island) and games that I'm aware of all the strats, any run over 2.5 - 3 hours sounds very mundane.

Although I shouldn't assume. For some reason, there aren't a lot of people on gamefaqs that are video game crazy like me lately :x... maybe delta

that's why you have a bot running in an mmo on your pc while you watch the speed run stream of the game you like on the other monitor or other half of the screen and play another game on your 3ds or switch at the same time! oh, and you've got a rubberband and a quarter set up to auto level yourself in some other console rpg in another room.

edit: what I mean is, the stream is kind of like watching a movie in the background. It's not something you dedicate your full time to

Lightning returns on now. I remember playing it and finishing most of the game in the first few days and never getting around to waiting for days to pass to finish it :x, ha

tales of phantasia after, then legend of legaia... at like 4am, so I'll be watching the recording later, sheesh

Woke up to legend of legaia and its 3 hours in and yeah its a weird category like I thought. Save and load glitches, so not my fave. I like how the glitched category has a 5 and a half hour estimate still though, ha. I'd hate to see how long a glitchless category would take of the game. Still, I love the game.

This is actually a point of interest on Super Metroid speed runs... since door transitions take about a second, but don't count towards the in-game timer. Runners have to decide if they are going for Real Time or In-Game Time when making a run and the routes are slightly different.
