5 year olds arent fun to deal with. Now add 30 of them together for 8 hours a day...its a pretty shitty job overall. Youre also responsible for trying to teach them basic concepts that to you and I seem simple, but to a 5 year old seems complex....and I can imagine the frustration involved in that.

In fact, teaching is such difficult job that it really isn't the kind of thing you can do unless you specifically like children and/or teaching. It's not something you just do as a paycheck or "keep you busy between jobs." Especially since it doesn't pay as well as it should.

Imagine if a kid just decided to run out of the room. You'd be completely responsible for making sure they're safe. Do you go after them and leave the other 25 in the room and hope they don't go crazy?

At least with upper grades, if a kid just walks out they're responsible for themselves and will get in trouble.
