Nash Highwind 05/12/18 9:47:20 AM #14:	Fire Emblem (aka Blazing Sword) is Fire Emblem at its core. Basic but fun. Sacred Stones is similar to Blazing Sword but with some added features. Mainly the world map and Branching Classes. Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn added more variety to the gameplay with laguz and skills but doesnt fray to far from the series roots. Awakening cherry picked a lot of the best features of the past games and mixed them all together. It was intended as as a farewell to the series but revitalized it instead. I personally like Genealogy of the Holy War and Path of Radiance/Radiant Dawn. --- "Dwarf armors are hard! Awakenings maps are pretty boring though and Fates has the dumbest story. I ended up getting bored towards the end, even though I really enjoyed the game's atmosphere, story, and characters. I'm never playing Conquest again. The story is flawed (it tries persuading you to buy Birthright/Revelations, the alternate versions of Fates), and some of the maps were too gimmicky for my taste. Is it a good game though? Absolutely. Echoes and Fates are the antithesis of each other.
