Notable Accolades:

Frog won the match by only 7 votes. Doesn't get much closer than that.
Master Chief hasn't encountered another Chrono Trigger character in a match again after this. Not even in 4-ways.
Aside from Crono once in 2005.

Notable Accolades:

Squall went from being 16 seed fodder in 2002 to flat out killing Luigi in 60-40 win in this match.
Squall is perhaps one of the few characters since 2003 to never dwindle in strength in these Character Battles.
Hardly anyone gave Squall a chance here. Luigi would catch the casual vote here, and being the higher seed and win with ease. Yeah whoops.
