since we can't yell at customers, we're yelling at each other. morale is in the toilet. i used to like coming to work, or at least didn't mind it... now i dread it

i think i'm gonna start looking for another job

Thats the worst. Are you guys understaffed? Seems like thats usually the faster way for everyone to get pissy.

it's a combination of technician staffing issues and the beginning of "the busy season". plus we have a third party call center that keeps booking us appointments despite us being fully booked

so yeah, understaffing is a big part of it

Sounds like the time I worked at Staples at the retail level. Worst time of my life by far.

Get out of there fast TC.

do supervisors / manager come yelling at workers or each other (manager yelling to other manager)? is there a conflict in the chain of command? or is it just the workers having a hard time of it.

Work drama and politics is everywhere. I have been working for over 30 years and humans will be humans.

I personally think if someone is having personal problems and it is effecting their work and professionalism then they should be sent home.

it's not direct chain of command, but the more senior employees are starting to pull "rank" more and more. what used to be cooperation is now more like barking orders, it sucks
