have you guys noticed your teeth shifting or becoming misaligned in any way?

i stopped wearing mine a long time ago (would regularly get canker sores due to them), and other than my front two bottom incisors having moved forward just a little bit, i seriously can't discern any other differences

two teeth moving ever so slightly forward is waaay more than worth not having to wear these every night and deal with the canker sores anymore

I thought I was only supposed to wear them for 2 months after getting my braces off. Turns out you're supposed to wear them every night.

Even just after 1 year my teeth shifted a little, 7 years later and they've shifted more but still no where near as bad as before getting braces.

I wrote plastic retainers for two years, but haven't bothered with them for 4 years. My teeth haven't moved at all according to my dentist, the retainers still fit like a glove. But, I do have a wire retainer permanently attached, so that probably helped me.
