same reason he was the best candidate on the Republican ticket in 2016, really. i am not voting for a hardcore religious nut, i am not voting for the biggest party over country snake, and i am definitely not voting for the guy who's more capable of the rest but represents some of the worst policies and ideas in that party. Trump's by far the least terrifying option and the one most open to a variety of different policies on both sides of the spectrum. extreme selfishness while severely lacking political knowledge makes him pretty malleable to popular opinion. --- "Maybe it's a tentacle, molesting the planet itself. - Aschen Brodel. ...
