So yeah, I think most people hesitate to admit when they're wrong. I know I've been guilty of that. Plus, it can also be bad to just accept what the other person is saying because you don't have a response ready at the time. People make that mistake a lot too, especially in the era of infinite information at our fingertips. It's okay to not know something. It's okay to say that you don't know something. It's okay not to immediately change your views when they're challenged with something you don't know the answer to. And yet, I've definitely been guilty of fucking that up as well. The point of conversation shouldn't be a competition with win-loss rates. It should be a means for everyone to share ideas and hopefully zero in on the more accurate ones.
