Iz great game now. I had stopped playing in January 2017 and started back up in December and so much had changed

If they had released the game as it is in it's current state it probably would've been a solid GOTY contender. Also the season pass is regularly on sell since they're desperately trying to get people to return to the game after early mistakes

It's so weird to see people praising The Division. When it came out, everyone said it was shit and nearly the entire player base fell off after a couple months. Personally, I liked it, but it lacked some serious polish. Now people are holding it up as better than Destiny 2. I honestly believe it's just the whole, "it's new, so it sucks" mentality.

It's the same way that people are now praising the Star Wars prequels over the sequels because of a combination of nostalgia and an unpleasable fanbase.

But this, Star Wars, and my zodiac sign have absolutely nothing to do with the fact that The Division had gone through a ton of revisions, mainly based on gamer feedback and unlike Destiny 2 doesn't hide that much behind DLC. It sucked when it released, they added a lot of shit, and now it doesn't suck and that's pretty much all to it

The only things walled behind the DLC are nightfall strikes using the DLC strikes, DLC raid lairs, and prestige nightfall. Regular strikes, crucible (pvp), and the first raid are still available to play.

Good pick up for $12 along with other games, and helping charity.

Yeah, the Taken King added a bunch of stuff and fixed a lot of the issues, then the Rise of Iron DLC came out and improved things even better, but people still bitched and kept comparing it to a pointless VLT.
