This movie would neeever get made in 2018. Kids smoking cigars and drinking beer? Kids saying jackass multiple times? 1940 was a wild time.
Also the donkey transformation for Pinocchio's friend was creepy. Didn't like it as a kid, don't like it now. Damn good movie --- "This is your last dance." ... Copied to Clipboard!

That movie always makes me feel bad.

Really good movie, but I have to be in a certain mood to watch it. It just makes me feel bad at the end knowing that ALL of the villains don't get their comeuppance at all.

I hadn't watched it since elementary school specifically because I remembered how fucked up it was. That and ET are the two movies I came around to as an adult, but man are they disturbing.
