What kind of pants? Like Jeans ? I get Levis which are like 40-50 a pair usually. I only own 3 pair. The rest of my pants are khakis, slacks, and sweat/jogging pants.

I usually purchase $380 jeans and hand rub ketchup all over my well done steak.
Ladies love this.

I usually pay 20-40 a pair. I like to shop at the stores where they stock last seasons clothes. They fit me well and often cost 1/3-1/4 of the original price. TJ Max and Burlington Coat Factory are stores I frequent.

i'm going to have to buy another pair of pants due to one of the pairs starting to show a rip on the butt area (isn't yet in the process of being tossed to the trash).

hopefully they're in stock at the beginning of the month.

I try to not go under 20 because anything less than that will end up wearing down and falling apart over time unless you're completely sedentary while wearing it

I work at a Ross so 40 dollar jeans will come in and sell for, like, 16 bucks.

So, that much.

You should spend the least amount you can to get the desired pair you want.

Don't arbitrarily pay more unless you understand what exactly you're paying more for. You may just be getting fleeced, or buying into a bunch of extra "features" that you honestly don't give a crap about.

Outside of hard wearing items like boots, durability almost never comes into the equation once you get out of the absolute gutter tier of clothing choices. So don't presume that your $300 jeans will be more durable than your $60 jeans. They just won't.

Absolutely there is a difference, but the difference is not how long it will last or whether it looks objectively better or not, which are the commonly reported reasons why people pay a lot of money for clothes.

You're paying that much for something you can't get at a cheaper price point, that's basically it.
