i mean it wasnt bad, but it just doesn't make logical sense when watching it considering there's going to be a whole lot of other sequels to the other marvel movies, so this movie is like, well, all is going to be fine

That's probably why they killed half of them off for the next one

The jokes are far from the heart of the movie, so if they fell flat then theres still a lot to love. I appreciated most of them, personally.

Lots of characters, but Im still impressed with how much development each got given the amount of time they had on screen. The writers and director did a good job of giving them really tough decisions to navigate. Actually, the characters we spent the most time with were the least developed ones, especially Thanos (who is incredibly written, I think)

The end fight scene only shares a location and a lighting/aesthetic similarly with Black Panther, but it has tons of new elements involved. It really only looks the same if you watch it in fast motion.

Youre free to not like the movie, but those of us who enjoyed it, did so immensely

I actually think that humor was done really well here. Like when Thor was joking, you could kinda tell he was only doing it to mask how sad he was, imo.

It's more like, "Damn, this is funny cuz they're all gonna die" kinda depressing humor. As opposed to Thor Ragnarok's "you really didn't need to ruin the moment with a joke" kind of humor.

But I will agree that a lot of characters didn't get screentime. Black Widow and Bucky had like, what, 7 lines total combined? Even Cap wasn't around for much of it. The movie was basically Thor 4 w/ Stark and Dr. Strange quipping at each other.

I think the movie threw most of its focus on developing Thanos Id wager he got the most screen time, really, which was integral to making this a satisfactory realization of the universes biggest villain. Most of the characters that didnt get much are characters we already know very well, and the ones who did had important development, like Thor basically becoming the most powerful Avenger, or how big of a sacrifice Vision was for Witch (and Im guessing the importance of Vision being uploaded into a computer, which I believe is what theyre planning), or Strange basically telling Tony that he was necessary to stopping Thanos (and Stark experiencing some real personal loss with Parker)
