I wasn't aware of this limitation, but it's not really a limitation since his teleporting is instantaneous. He could literally teleport anywhere if he simply jumped part way there, then teleported from where he was.

He needs to see where he's teleporting to make sure he doesn't telefrag himself. So his teleportation distance is limited by his eyes. This is old info. TC is just stating it differently.

Ah, well that makes sense. Still, though, he could hypothetically just swing from spot to spot till he got where he wanted to go.

He can teleport into solids and die, he can definitely teleport into liquids (and in this example, die)
