It was canned because Kubo was worked to death and he lost his fire because of that so the quality of his work went down the drain and that's when Shonen cut him off. But before he was worked to death Bleach was contending with Naruto and One Piece. It was a monster.

Looks not bad at all compared to most japanese anime live action. The Cgi is pretty competent imo. These movies have a faction of the budget of a typical hollywood movie.
