For those who haven't heard, multiple, credible rumors indicate that BO4 will not have a campaign and instead it will have a Battle Royale mode, and it will not be boots on the ground and may have rocket movements, and the multiplayer may be similar to Overwatch

I think there was more to it but I forgot

do you guys think these are real? It seems like after the success of WW2 they wouldn't be dunce enough to pull some stupid bull shit like this. I just want to go back to BO1/BO2 days. Those are still, and will always be my fave CoD </3

I wouldn't be surprised if it was true, rather than making fun games, big AAA Dev's would rather cash in on what's popular ATM and risk further saturating the genre/market just to make money on what's popular.

I loathe the BR genre already, and if this IS true, I hope it crashes and burns, Not everything needs a goddamn battle royale mode.....

I legitimately suggest, if you preferred Black Ops 1 and 2, to continue playing Black Ops 1 and 2. While it's nice to see a sequel that brings back elements you liked, I don't think we should expect them to come out and should look at every new game based on its own merits. If you don't like the direction a sequel goes in, treat it the same as you would a new IP that heads in exactly the same direction.

Bottom line:
If it is true, don't buy it. Don't reinforce their bad decisions.

But, we all know you will anyway, right? Cause you can't resist a "new" (same exact) zombie mode with different levels.
That's fine, everyone learns at their own speed.

I was in at CoD 4 and out by MW2. Luckily I saw the writing on the wall early enough to save me from the last 8 or 9 dumpster fires. I even started and finished my Battlefield phase since then. Only thing I can say from all that time is that BF is still a good/decent series, but I don't think I'll be going back to it.

they've done cod for 9 straight years? do you think it costs a lot to make a new cod game? imo not anywhere close to the amount it costed to make mgsv for example
