It's actually not USD, but in AUD, so the price is 850 AUD. But if you're buying from the US the conversion rate should work out for ya.

I...guess? I bought a case last year, that's still empty and just taking up space. So I am looking to get some info from people on when and what type of GPU I should get.

I guess I should do what every other CE user does and post instagram pics or make another racial baiting topic.

Its a fantastic card at that price but I would be a bit hesitant getting it on Ebay.

Or ask the PC Hardware board. Or make one topic.

I've posted on both, this board has more traffic. I just came upon this GPU listing, not like I had the forsight to post all GPU listings by rounding them up.

But hey, I guess I am taking precious CE space from all the topics about racial baiting and insta pics.

Its just a big purchase and its a risky purchase in the sense that its a very complex piece of machinery. If the card is truly new and in the correct packaging and most importantly still holds the manufacturers warranty then that is a great deal but you really want to trust the source on this one and know that you have a warranty backing you up with any graphics card purchase.

I'll note that this isn't even an issue of observable damage. I had an EVGA GTX 970 that started showing graphical artifacts (weird red lines appearing on stuff in a lot of games). I got in touch with EVGA and they told me it was a known defect with the card and I returned it for a new one about 5 months after I got it. There is a reason that the warranties are so generous with the big card manufacturers. Graphics card can and do fail for reasons you can't eyeball on the manufacturing floor or when you receive the card in the mail.

Can you recommend me a good place to buy from registered and reliable sellers that will do good on the warranties, other than retail stores?

Or do i have to purchase directly from the manufacture?

GPUs warranties usually carry over between owners.

Also, as long as you use PayPal you should never have an issue on Ebay as a buyer.

Still, how this individual has 15 brand new ti's at that price is suspicious.

I just checked his profile.

https://www.ebay.com/usr/softwareteamsales-0?_trksid=p2047675.l2559

He is selling TWO variations of 1080 ti's, this one and one from MSI, with 10+ stock. Either he's trying to recoup his loss, hard, a scam or a legit seller.

8 feedback.

Yeah, no thanks.

Hes selling severely used GPUs that have hours of continuous load on them.

Now, that doesn't mean it wont work or cant last a few years.

But I cant pay that price on a card that I KNOW has been heavily stressed.
