Its so much more simple. If you burn more calories than you consume that day, youre good.

Look at that old school food pyramid we all learned in in elementary school. Bread was the staple of the American diet for hundreds of years. People were NOWHERE near as fat in the 1900s-1980s.

Its sugar, soda, fast food, and overly processed food thats the issue. This keto shit is such a joke.

Everyone knows that. It just lets overweight people give themselves another excuse to not walk a few miles a day and eat less calories. Imaginary celiacs is right up there with PCOS as the new in excuses for being obese.

I think you're misunderstanding the principals a little here.

Yes, calories in minus calories out = change in bodyfat stores, everyone knows that. The basic physics is fundamental here, and cannot change.

What's not so simple is that the "calories out" side of the equation is not static, and this is the part that people seem to always misunderstand. Different macro groups have different thermic effects, and are less "efficient" from an energy perspective. You can't just change how much you eat in calories and expect your body to react equally no matter what.

Add in how different foods affect hormonal changes which further effects the calories out side of things, and yeah - things become more complicated.

Keto is not a joke, and neither are particular diets that focus on mitigating unwanted hormonal spikes or reducing foods that are better at holding onto energy stores.

When people discuss gluten and bread as a cause of obesity, they're talking about how there's an obvious link between the increase in gluten and bread in a populations diet with an increase in obesity rates, based on various things.

Its about carb intake sugar is a type of carb same with bread. When you look at a meal and it has high fat it's not going to be as fattening as something that has high carbs
