i love korea, for the most part. i mean, of course theres problems but i mean whatever.

but soju fucking sucks IM SORRY.

when your liquor's only saving grace is that it literally costs a dollar USD per bottle ITS BAD. REAL BAD

in america, i was at a korean bar where this dude chugged an entire bottle of soju in one go. i was horrified at his decision, not impressed.

I eat Korean food and watch Korean movies occasionally. Some of my favorite movies are Korean.

I'd like to try soju at least once, but I have yet to find it locally. I am not a discriminator of alcohol. And so far in drinking more than half my life; tequila, scotch and white wine are about the only undrinkable alcohols I've encountered.

this is what you do, go get some vodka, and pour it in a glass. about half way. then fill the rest with water. then pour it all out, and replace it with just water.

It was plain scotch I tried. Back when I first got married and my wife and mother in law were at a casino I had some drinks with my father in law at the bar and he was buying scotch so I don't know what brand it was, and I really didn't like the taste. But tbf that's all I've tried. While tequila I've had many brands and they all taste awful, so I just figured scotch would be the same way with me.

Try a Macallan or a Lagavulin next time. Or if you want to splurge, try some Johnnie Walker Blue Label.
