As in they can predict future events/show distant happenings? Or as in they can be based on someone's feelings/thoughts? That one is obviously based on real feelings of guilt that I have. But I also have dreams where my teeth are loose, or my car doesn't brake properly. Common nightmares like those don't mean anything IMO. Then there are the weird, surreal dreams. I think they're just random brain activity. Even though the logic part of your brain peaces out during dreams, the stuff happening in them is still in your brain. Dream interpretation books and stuff like that are bullshit, though. 7 billion people on the planet, countless cultures and concepts and worldviews - one single way to interpret a dream.
