1. Assassin Bubbles, south of the first palace.
2. Bot Rush, first palace
3. Turns out trying to get through caves without the candle is a bad idea.
4. Knocked into lava by Octorok in Death Mountain
5. Game Crashed. You can only save when you die, so yeah.
6. Killed by boss in the 2nd palace.
7. Got annoyed, tried to go through first palace as fast as possible. It didn't go well.
8. Fourth Palace, killed by infinite respawning horse heads over lava pits.
9. Fourth Palace, killed by infinite respawning horse heads over lava pits.
10. Fourth Palace, killed by infinite respawning horse heads over lava pits.
11. Realized I can bypass that room by getting the magic key later in the game. Killed by boss in 5th palace.
12. Killed by Leever when trying to restore my magic.

I'm not that good at the game, but it would probably take me 20 deaths just to rush to the thunderbird/dark link in the grand palace

I think I have beaten it without game overs, but I don't think I could do it without deaths. The no game overs might have only been on the second quest (where you keep your levels and spells) anyway.
