this doesnt make any sense. soft flour tortillas? I could see breaking up hard shell ones because itll add some crunch to it, but i dont understand why the recipe would call for soft. i might be an idiot but it seems weird. ... Copied to Clipboard!

okay now that ive actually had a few bites it seems like it adds more heft to the meal, but I still woulda preferred that crunchy goodness small tortilla chips/broken hard shells woulda created!

I dunno 'hard' taco shells break up too easily at times for me. I kinda like soft/burrito types

It makes sense, many recipes are made with a roux or call for adding flour or corn starch to thicken a dish, adding tortilla is just another way to do that
