I liked the beaches in Florida near boca more than in Cali near Anaheim. Southern California has better weather than Florida though. Hawaii Beach and weather is obviously nicer than both.

hawaii is so far out though. like it's a 11hr flight from london to california, and then that would be an extra few hours right?

LA to Hawaii is another 6. You don't really realize how far out it is until you go

It's fucking beautiful here, but I will never understand the hype surrounding San Francisco and tourists. That place is a fucking shithole.

Go literally anywhere else, except Oakland. Oakland is a shithole too.

the whole pacific coast is gorgeous

The whole central coast area (especially down near San Luis Obispo) is far superior to everything else in California except for maybe San Diego.

Tbqh, I don't know if highway 1 goes all the way down. The 101 is what most people use to travel up and down California (until you get to L.A., then you switch to the 405 and then to the 5 usually). If you want a super scenic route, take highway 1/pacific coast highway. Be warned tho that there can be some heavy traffic during peak hours, especially if there's a car accident or a car breaks down.

No problem. If youre passing through the San Luis Obispo County and Santa Barbara County areas and like steak, hit up Jockos or The Hitching Post. Downtown SLO also has a cool bar scene since its a college town. Also, Pismo Beach, Avila Beach, and Shell Beach are cool too.

Downtown Santa Barbara and Isla Vista (UC Santa Barbara college town) have a cool bar/party scene too, but watch out for drink drivers in IV. Lots of people have died there from being hit by drunk drivers. Santa Barbara is a bit more frat boy/brosef vibe, so I prefer SLO. But theyre cool areas too.

I went to law school there and worked there for an additional 4 years. San Diego is a lot of fun.

Im sure that youre trolling, but there havent been any major fires in months. In fact we got some decent rain in March so everything is green right now.

for sure take the 1 down to santa barbara from SF. probably your best bet for a great scenic route.

the 101 is fine after you pass the shit stretch from SF to king city if you want a faster route.
