It was almost as good as Pixels.

Pixels was OK - albeit rather inaccurate with a lot of things (many of the games featured coming later than the space probe which prompted the alien attack)

With Ready Player One, they did do their best to get much of the stuff right - although I'm sure there's plenty they didn't. I won't talk about what I did or didn't pick up on - just so I won't spoil anything for those who haven't seen it - but I enjoyed the film a lot. Just don't go in expecting to see the exact story of the book. While the basic plot is the same (guy dies, leaves his company "Willy Wonka style" leaves it up for grabs and the public compete against a corporation to get it.) the actual events in the story are vastly different - aside from a couple of bits I'm sure everyone's already seen in the trailers.
