So you can only get 50 coins a day as opposed to 100, but I'm 100% fine with that because it was impossible to get any of your pokemon in a gym when they were filled with ten blisseys.

The problem now, however, is that there is no way to recall your Pokemon, and that's a problem because you only get the coins when your Pokemon returns. So currently, I have seven Pokemon sitting in gyms, but it's 9PM and there's a literal winter storm warning out right now, so there's no way I'm getting my daily 50 coins today

which is especially annoying because i'm one coin infusion away from another bag space upgrade

yeah there's something to be said for that. i get my coins, teammate gets a slot in the gym. fair trade, assuming it's optional though. there are still benefits to leaving your pokemon in the gym for a while, i think it earns you gym points over time or something.

on a related note, some based jesus knocked out my Rhydon at 11:41, giving me 44 coins!!! Praise yahweh, 19 minutes to spare. I love having more item space, this shit gets cramped, especially now that the quests give you rewards as well.

You mean going outside and actually communicating with people in person? The other day there was this unbelievably hot chick playing downtown playing at 10pm. My friend and I talked to her for a minute but I was too in my own head to have any real conversation. A shame really.

Anyway. Yeah it would suck but being the underdog team in my city I never hold gyms for 24+ hours

Pokemon Go has been so beneficial to some people in my community. I see retirees walking more miles while playing Pokemon Go than most people on CE.

The other day this old lady asked me if I was fighting the legendary raid with them and I was like "wasn't planning to unless you need me" lol. Literally everything from 5 year olds to 80 year olds just in my neighborhood. Most are 25-40 tho. Being as I like people in general I find it beautiful something is bringing all these random people who would of never communicated before together.

That's what many people don't realize. The social aspect of raiding has brought together people from so many backgrounds and age groups. You can't say that about any other game.

I know a guy in his late 60's who plays Pokemon Go 8-12 hours a day and I bet he's healthier than most guys on CE. He would get together with other retirees and go on early morning raids and take down gyms. They get their daily morning exercise, they socialize and they become part of a community that only exist because of the game.

The only people that wanted the old gym system to stay were the ones that were on the dominant team (usually blue), that already had their 10 Blisseys sitting comfortable in the gyms so they could get their coins every day for zero effort.

This. It was borderline impossible to beat one max CP level 40 blissey in the 99 second time limit, let alone having the patience to kill ten.
