Yeah, it had some great games. I feel like a lot of them don't hold up as well today, but the classics like Mario Kart are still great.

I liked(and still like) it, even though as it turned out, it's the Nintendo console I owned/played the least games for.

Quest64 was great, I could play the whole quest without using magic, just hitting things with my staff.

Sure. It didn't have a library as great as the PSX did, but when there was a good game on the N64, it was really good.

Mario 64 pioneered so many concepts in 3D games it's absurd. People forget it basically invented the concept of a controllable 3rd person camera. It was such a new concept at the time that they had to show Lakitu holding a camera in the opening just to help players understand.

Yeah.
The fact that it had a small library didn't bother me because I would get only a game or two at most per year back then. I also remember when I thought graphics couldn't get any better than what Super Mario 64 was doing at the time. --- Ave, true to Caesar. ... Copied to Clipboard!

I had an N64 as a kid and loved it. I've since acquired a PS1, but I have way more games for my N64, so I can't really agree with the tiny library thing.
