Seems like most games are AAA games, and then you've got indie games.

Apparently an A game is an indie game.

Still trying to find a AA game though.

I mean I always figured AAA was like top of the top, like Halo, CoD, GTA, Mass Effect, Elder Scrolls, etc.

Then AA would be the bulk of enthusiast games.

Then A would be more niche or lower budget enthusiast games.

And then below that you've got indie games.

I don't even own a "A," let alone many "As" that would necessitate an entire game.

I think the only series Nintendo legitimately puts a lot of budget into nowadays is Zelda.

Splatoon might oddly be one as well. They spent a crapton on advertisement and it paid off.
